Please join us for our annual DSC Spring Research Forum. We'll have talks and posters from faculty as well as students who have been funded by our collaborative.

This year's four brief faculty talks include:

  • Jason Coronel (Communications) "Using eye movements to assess people's memories of political events"
  • Kentaro Fujita (Psychology) “Why do people struggle with self-control?”
  • Stephanie Moulton (Public Affairs) “Reducing mortgage default through reminders”
  • Scott Schwenter (Linguistics) “Constraints on linguistic decisions”

Next, these DSC grantees (winners of the top-rated abstracts) will each give a 15-minute talk about their funded research.

  • Kirby Nielsen (Economics) “Preferences for the Resolution of Uncertainty and the Timing of Information”
  • Daniel Zane (Marketing) “The Meaning of Distraction: How Metacognitive Inferences from Distraction Affect Brand Attitudes”

After the talks, we will have a poster session with other DSC grantees and decision scientists in the lower lobby of the Psychology Building. Appetizers and drinks will be served.
