The American Lung Association and The Ohio State University will host a viewing of this live webcast from the Whitehouse, featuring remarks by U.S. Surgeon General, Vice Admiral Vivek H. Murthy, M.D. and Dr. Sumita Khatri, M.D., M.S. of the Cleveland Clinic. This Summit will bring together public health, medical professionals, and other stakeholders to discuss the public health impacts of climate change and identify opportunities to minimize these impacts.
Dr. Richard Spinrad, NOAA Chief Scientist, will attend our Columbus viewing in person. He will make additional comments following the viewing and participate in a local conversation.
