"Big Data Future" Free Public Conference
Big Data Future is a free, public, multidisciplinary conference on the possibilities for new enterprises grounded in “big data” to improve economic, social, and political life. It aims to both publicize the potential of “big data,” and to raise awareness of key legal and policy challenges.The conference is being organized by the Moritz College of Law, Glenn School of Public Affairs (and its Battelle Center for Science and Technology Policy), and College of Engineering, as well as I/S: A Journal of Law and Policy for the Information Society, which will publish papers from the conference in celebration of its tenth anniversary.A copy of the conference agenda is available, as well as registration information on the conference webpage.
