Dear Decision Sciences Collaborative,
I hope that you are enjoying the last weeks of your summer. It's great to be back from sabbatical. I'm looking forward to the fall semester and seeing many of you again. My thanks to our Interim DSC Director Amanda Robinson for her more than capable leadership this year!
As you think about the start of the fall semester, I would like to encourage you to apply for a grant in decision making. Some possibilities are below, but many more exist, of course.
1. Leadership research grant opportunity. The Fisher Leadership Initiative is accepting applications for its second annual Leadership Research Grant Program. The program intends to award up to $50,000 in grants for leadership-focused research projects being conducted across Ohio State. Last year, eight units and colleges participated in the program and collectively were awarded $55,000 in funding from the Fisher Leadership Initiative. More information about the Leadership Research Grant Program can be found here. Applications are due September 14, 2018 and may be submitted online here.
2. Risk Institute grants. The Risk Institute will support their next series of research grants in January. Information about Risk Institute events and this forthcoming request for proposals can be found here.
3. DSC research grants. We fund faculty, postdoc, graduate, and undergraduate research. Our next applications for faculty, postdocs, and graduate students are due October 15. You can find information on how to apply here. Undergraduate applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. More details here
