My research focuses on harnessing consumers’ cognitive and affective resources to increase their well-being. Consumers make countless daily decisions in the pursuit of happiness—whether and how to spend or save their money, what and how much to eat, and when and how to help others.
Michael graduated magna cum laude from Muhlenberg College with a BA and honors in Psychology. His research interests include numeracy, affect, motivated cognition, risk literacy, health, and how irrelevant factors influence judgments and decisions.
